The Harmony Peace Garden was initiated and installed by Sounding Boards of Eastlake Studios in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The Peace Garden was featured in the 2021 Architectural Biennial and was recently named a Merit Award winner in Architect Magazine’s 2022 Architecture & Interior Awards for Civic/Design for Purpose. This engaging and peaceful public space displays plywood murals that were erected during the George Floyd demonstrations in and around Chicago in 2020.
